I live in Pensacola, Florida (Northwest part of the state). I have heard stories about animals dieing of heat on plane trips. It’s already getting hot here. I have a Field Bred ECS. Rescued her from a group in SW Georgia.

      • HI Barbara- I have had great luck flying many puppies, and the airlines are very particular about climate rules. Most of the airlines in the south transport animals for connections and such in air conditoned vehicles – I even had a puppy stuck overnight in Detroit – they called me and took her to a boarding kennel overnight. They did a great job of contacting and updating the owner and she arrive safe ad sound in NY the next day no worse for wear. That has prompted a decison by me to fly direct only however:) In MN we have to ship early AM to meet the requirements here, but the southern destinations are all climate controlled. Chris

Thanks Chris. I will be monitoring your site….maybe in the future after I get my new dog trained. She has alot of energy.

      • 2 are actually easier than one – like kids, they paly with each other…

As always, we are excited to see pics of Gus. He is growing quickly! Still hoping we can meet up with you this weekend at field trials. Keep the photos coming. It is hard knowing our little fella is growing and we aren’t there to see every move!
